About Caroline Lucas
In 2010, the people of Brighton Pavilion said ‘No’ to politics as usual and elected Caroline Lucas to represent them in Parliament. With your support we can help ensure she’s elected again in 2015 and can continue to stand up for what matters.
A passionate campaigner for the environment, social justice and human rights, Caroline has been widely recognised for her work, including winning MP of the year in 2014 for standing up for minority and deprived communities.
Why We Need Your Help
As the only Green MP in the UK, it is vital Caroline is re-elected. We need her standing up in Parliament for a truly public NHS, against tuition fees, and putting forward an alternative to the Coalition’s cruel austerity measures. We need her persistent voice calling for warm, affordable homes and for action to tackle climate change.
The Green Party don’t have the big business backing of the establishment parties or UKIP. Campaigns are powered by our members and supporters. With a General Election only months away, Labour have prioritised Brighton Pavilion at No.19 on their national target list and have assembled a strategy unit in an attempt to counter the Green Party’s growing support. So your help is needed more than ever before.
By donating to the campaign to re-elect Caroline you can help ensure there’s still a gutsy, progressive voice in Parliament after the General Election – a perfect Christmas present to the voters of the future.
The Impact
Hitting our target will allow us to fund and deliver a direct message from Caroline to voters in her constituency. This will highlight her track record, showcase her work as an effective MP and make the case for re-electing her at the General Election in May 2015. We want everyone in Brighton Pavilion to know about Caroline’s acclaimed performance as an MP since 2010.
Other Ways You Can Help
If you feel you are not able to contribute financially, you can still help re-elect Caroline by telling your friends or sharing this page on social media, following Caroline on Facebook and Twitter (@CarolineLucas) to stay up to date on her recent activity. You can also volunteer for the campaign by signing up here.
Finally, of course, don’t forget that your vote counts on May 7th!
Many thanks for your help.
All the best,
#TeamCaroline
