Operation Starlight in America
Phase One: Mount Baldy, California (1959)
There are many mountains around the world that are considered holy by different cultures and religions. Mount Baldy, 50 miles east of Los Angeles in the San Gabriel Mountains, is one of these. It has been considered holy by the San Gabrielino/Tongva native Americans for generations, and by The Aetherius Society for over 50 years. There has also been a Zen Buddhist Center on the mountain for over 40 years.
Although the entire mountain is considered sacred containing powerful energies, the energy is easier to invoke from a particular place near the top. This sacred spot is at an elevation of approximately 9500 ft. It was at this site on August 9th, 1959, where Western Master of Yoga and Founder of The Aetherius Society, Dr. George King, acted as a channel for a stream of Cosmic energy to flow into the mountain.
On August 9th, 1959, the Master Aetherius stated:
''The Power in the first mountain (Mount Baldy) charged as a Cosmic Age Power Centre in the americas its properties peculiar to it's Cosmic Position. By that, I mean the Energies which can be contacted by the performance of 'The Twelve Blessings' upon Mount Baldy are those Energies which should be used for general radiation purposes, so that all the life streams upon Terra who are ready for these particular Energies may avail themselves of the Energies as the teams of pilgrims radiate them.
The Energies of Mount Baldy help the pilgrims to have a deeper Cosmic Appreciation.''
This mountain was Charged on August 9th, 1959, through Dr George King, by Mars Sector 6.
It has been stated by Saint Goo-Ling, an ancient Ascended Master of the Spiritual Hierarchy of Earth, that the most potent spiritual practice in these days is to perform The Twelve Blessings on one of these Holy Mountains during a Spiritual Push.
Even outside these times, the amount of spiritual energy that can be contacted and directed from atop one of these Holy Temples of Nature is equal to the energy only an Ad

ept could have invoked in the past. The healing and prayers sent out from one of these Charged Mountains is magnificent, and can have dramatic results. Many pilgrims have experienced mystical states during such Pilgrimages.

Guide for Pilgrims:
A very popular summer hiking and winter skiing area, 50 miles north-east of Los Angeles, California, near the borders of the Angeles and San Bernardino National Forests.
Use Mountain Avenue north from Interstate 10 at Ontario and drive through Baldy Village to the bottom of the year-round ski-lift at over 6,000 feet. The last few miles of this road are very steep, winding, and at high altitude, which requires an automobile in good condition.
Take the ski-lift to the 7,800-foot lodge in Baldy Notch. the climb to the Charged Rock Spot is below the main peak, up a steep slope of loose scree. Air is thin due to altitude and the Sun's intensity demands headwear. Summer temperatures can be hot and water should be carried. Strong footgear, an abseil sling with carabiner should be worn, and several members of the party should have climbing rope in the event of a fall on some very steep portions of this climb.
Pilgrims should attempt this Holy Mountain only between June and early October, and then only in good weather. Southern California is drought-prone, but heavy rain and snowfall can change the characteristics of this mountain from year to year. Has been climbed by experienced Aetherius Society climbers with full arctic climbing gear, but this is not recommended! Winds to 70 miles per hour, severe avalanche hazard, deep snow and ice are present. Permission to climb in winter must be obtained from National Forest Service Rangers in Baldy Village who will inspect equipment and question climbers' experience.
