Did you know that many herbs which are used in spells can also be used to make pleasant tasting herbal teas? It’s also a great way to absorb the powerful magical effect of a particular herb directly into your body.
It is important for safety reasons that you only use herbs that you are familiar with from cooking or herbs that are specifically sold as herbal teas through reputable retailers.
A tea is made by pouring boiling water over a teaspoon of a powdered herb and allowing it to brew for three to five minutes. Then strain the tea. Next, place your hand over it and close your eyes whilst you sent a silent mental request to the universe that the tea brings the desired energy into your life. When the tea has cooled drink it all. Repeat for seven days.
Here is a list of various herbs you might find helpful to gain a little magical assistance!
TO ENCOURAGE LOVE
Try a mixture of orange rind, rose hip and cinnamon. This makes a wonderful tasting love tea especially if you add a little honey. Other herbs which are said to attract love are parsley, red clover, chamomile, jasmine petals and chrysanthemum. An additional boost to the spell can be to place a copper coin in the teapot in which you are brewing the herb as this is the metal of the planet Venus, the astrological ruler of love and romance. If there is someone you are particularly keen to gain the affections of then offer them a cup of your magical brew too!
TO ATTRACT WEALTH
Use peppermint, spearmint and garden mint. Also, a mixture of one part ginger, and one eighth parts each of clove and nutmeg are also said to draw the energies of wealth.
TO WARD OFF NEGATIVE ENERGIES
Sage tea is said to be highly protective. Rosemary, allspice, fennel, nettle and lemongrass also have a reputation for keeping negative energies at bay. These same herbs can also be added to your bath water and will have the same effect.
TO ATTRACT OPPORTUNITIES & GOOD LUCK
There are several herbs known for this purpose such as allspice, lemongrass, aniseed, lemon, lime, and thyme. So when you've had your brew - why not try buying a lottery ticket.
TO ATTRACT COURAGE
If you feel threatened at all from any source, herb teas made with parsley, raspberry leaf, nettle or aniseed and ginger will soon have you feeling stronger mentally.
Remember, magic can work in the strangest of ways, and it doesn't always involve a puff of smoke when your wish is being delivered.
